Clay Hand Building – Mug

In this evening workshop you will focus on making a stoneware mug. Savannah will work individually with each student to develop skills and personal style. All skill levels welcome! This evening workshop will cover how to use a slab roller and create a hand built mug. Bring your creativity and the possibilities are endless.
Pieces will be built on Saturday evening. The pieces will dry for 7 days and then be fired. You will then have 10 days to return at your leisure to paint you mug with a wide variety of glazes.
The mug will need to try for 10 days before we fire it. You will then be able to return at your convenience within the next 10 days to paint your mug with a variety of specialty paints.
Coming as a couple our a group of people? Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the event so you can get seats together!
Water and light snacks will be provided, with glasses and bottle openers available for those that are bringing their own wine. This is a BYOB event. And since there is wine involved, we need to keep this as Adult-only event.
