Give a HOOT!

Schools out! Looking for something cool for the kids to do on a hot summer afternoon ? Sign up for several hours of fun in our afternoon summer camp program.   

Tuesday through Thursday 1 pm – 4 pm.  $149 for 3 days which includes all projects and a snack and drink each day.  Registration is required prior to attending.  We require a minimum of 5 children to hold the camp session each week.  This event is for children ages 8 and up.

Tuesday

Clay Hand Building has become very popular at the studio and the Owl dish will serve many purposes.  Kids will use a slab roller to roll out their clay and then hand build all the add on’s.  Clay will dry until Thursday and then be painted.  This piece will need to dry for 10 days before firing.

Wednesday

This chip and dip set is a great project for little owl lovers.  The bowl will be fused to the plate to keep everything together and allow it to be more FUN-ctional.

Thursday

Owls are a favorite for our Pottery Factory customers and we thought this canvas was adorable.  We love the 12×24 canvas size and will add a ribbon to it before it goes home to make it ready to hang.

Bonus Project!

The mason jar mug will be painted a little bit each day at the end of our major project.  It’s a great bonus project to keep kids busy and will certainly become their favorite glass to use.
